Hostile Mobs by: Hannah

Hostile Mobs
By: Hannah
Hostile mobs are the mobs that spawn in light levels of 7 or lower and the redstone torch emits light level 7, so i suggest you don't light your home with those.
Overworld Mobs:

  • Zombies are the most basic hostile mobs. They attack 3 HP in easy, 4 HP in normal, and 6 HP in hard mode, and these are not with armor on. They attack when your player is in a 200 block radius. They have a chance of spawning with armor, items, and tools. Any item dropped will be picked up by the zombie and they will hold it. They will break down wooden doors in hard mode. They have a chance to drop carrots, potatoes, rotten flesh, iron swords and shovels when equipped, and iron ingots when killed. Also, there are baby zombies and, very rarely, they can spawn on a chicken, creating the chicken jockey. The baby zombie controls the chicken and they are very fast. Me and my brother have both seen some of these chicken jockeys.
  • Skeletons are archers unless given a sword.  In ranged attack, in easy it's 2 HP, in normal it's 3 HP, and in hard it's 4 HP. With a sword it's 2 HP in easy, 2 HP in normal, and 3 HP in hard. Also, if you get a skeleton to kill a creeper, the creeper will drop it's normal drops an 1 out of 12 music disks. The disks can only be played using a jukebox which is crafted in a crafting table by putting a diamond in the middle of the craft table and surround it using only 1 type of wood (not using like 3 types in one crafting table.) You place the jukebox down and right-click with a disk and the disk will play. Very rarely will skeletons drop their bows, and they will be very damaged, and will also drop 1-3 arrows and 1-3 bones, which can be crafted into bone meal which is used to grow crops and trees.
  • Creepers are explosive mobs that hiss then explode, draining a lot of HP.
Servers Or Multiplayer Mode
By: Hannah
Multiplayer Mode is for servers or nearby Lan worlds. Lan servers are someones singleplayer world that they made only public to minecraft computers with the same wifi. Only computers who have the lan code and same wifi can play. The main servers are the public official servers. These are the servers that anyone can play unless they are banned. When you are banned, it is usually for a certain amount of time, but sometimes it is forever. Players get banned when they spam chat or use mods for flying of x-ray.  Multiplayer is very fun, even when you don't play with your friends. The top right picture is the drill. It has a furnace in the front where you put coal or any other fuel. I think you can only use the drill in survival. You build it using an iron block, gold block, chest , furnace , 2 wooden planks, and a lever.
The lever is already turned off so when you flick it the drill turns on, mining a 3 by 3 block perimeter, and all ores and cobblestone go into the chest. If the furnace runs out of fuel, it will stop mining. There are several things that can be on a server, the one i play on has seven. These seven are : KitPvP; where you can buy things that appear in your inventory with the money you get from killing other players and are not there again when you die, PvP stands for player vs player; Next is Skyblock; where you spawn on an island with one podzol block, one mycelium block, 1 piece of farmland per carrot, potato, and wheat, and a chest with basic survival tools, and also 6 or 7 layers of sand and dirt and in which you must build out and expand your island to have different varieties; After that is Creative and survival, i have 2 different posts for that that explain most of that; Parkour, which is where you do sprint jumping, jump from short distances, fence jumps, glass pane and iron bar jumps, and even ceiling jumps which in parkour your goal is to jump to each jump to the end and beat the level to go to the next one; AWB creative, in which you build professional-looking buildings and professional builders will judge them and you will get more plots for more builds until you reach the top rank; and last but not least;factions, which is where you run a faction or am a member of a faction but the main goal is to not get your faction raided, (or you base) and gain as much power as possible, and power is gained by expanding you base, letting in members, and being a high rank, and if you are leader you get power easily, and I know because I am leader of my faction, and you create a faction by doing /f create (name) and factions can only be created if they do not have the name of another faction (ex: if a factions name is royalty, and you do /f create royalty, it will say that that name had already been taken.) This is more of an overview of the blockville server, but most servers have factions, creative, and survival. There actually is one more part of the server I forgot and it's called prison. Prison is where you have tools in which you mine ores and sell them to gain money to rank up and it could go from $50,000 to $100,000 in your rank up and the ranks are according to certain letters. There are different mines according to what rank you are. Thats it and thanks for reading!

Creative Mode
By: Hannah

  •
Creative Mode where your unreal ideas in survival come to life. In creative mode, your imagination is the limit. At least that's what everybody says. In my opinion, creative mode is for pixelart, creative builds, extraordinary competitive creative, complex redstone mechanisms and even more! Like I said, your imagination is the  limit!
Elsa's Castle Build
In my opinion, if you want to build a city, you want to use the flat world option. You may also want to disable structures, because huge villages might spawn and you will have to destroy them.
Also, in some servers they have creative modes with big plots you and your friends can build on.

One of these is blockville. Me and my friends consider it the best ever! They have: factions, kitpvp, creative, AWB creative (your builds are judged by professionals), sky block, sky grid, and survival.

Redstone mechanism in creative.

The IP is : play.blockville.net. Click the multiplayer option on the home screen and enter the Ip to get the server. Creative is close to my favorite, but I like sky block best.

Passive Mobs Of Minecraftia

Mobs Of this Blocky World
 By: Hannah .V.

The Very first mob you will probably encounter will be the non-hostile mobs, or the passive animals. These are basically animals you would normally find on a farm; pigs, cows, chicken, and sheep.

  • Sheep: In the newest update, (1.8), sheep not only drop 1 piece of wool when killed, but they also drop lamb chops. They restore 3 full hunger bar pieces. They are the only animals that drop wool. You need 3 pieces of wool for a bed, which you use to skip through the night and dodge all the hostile mobs. Sheep are found usually in plains biomes and are also near forests. Usually spawn in groups of 1-5 or more.
  • Cows drop raw meat and leather. When cooked, they restore four hunger pieces and it changes to Cooked steak. Cows and sheep can be both breed using wheat, obtained by farming seeds and breaking them when they are fully grown. They will follow you if you hold wheat (both cows and sheep.) They spawn 1-8, usually spread out by the time you find them unless near spawn.
  • Pigs are, in my opinion, the cutest mob in minecraft (besides ocelots.)  They will follow you if you hold carrots of potatoes. you can breed them with either carrots or potatoes. If killed, they will drop 0-3 pieces of raw pork chop. When cooked, this will fill 4 hunger bars. You can name all mobs with name tags by changing name of the name tag in an anvil. Name Tags can only be used once. Usually spawn in groups of 3 or more.
  • Chickens usually spawn in groups of 3 or more. They drop raw chicken and feathers when killed. When you cook the chicken, it will heal 3 hunger bars. Also, never et raw food or you will have a chance of food poisoning, this applies for all raw food and rotten flesh. Chickens will follow you if you hold seeds and also can be breed with seeds.
  • Ocelots are only found in the rare jungle biome. When you get to close, they run away from you. If you hold raw fish, they will slowly creep closer if you do not touch the mouse. Eventually it will stop and you must slowly move your cursor with the raw fish in your hand and right click the ocelot. Eventually red hearts will appear and the ocelot gets a new skin. There are 3 skins: tabby, tuxedo, and Siamese. Both tamed and untamed ocelots scare creepers, and the creepers will run from them. They will not attack anything, even when tamed. To make it sit, you right click it.
  • Wolves are normally found in the taiga biome, or snow biome, but can also be found in forest biomes. They will attack you (they are neutral) if you punch one. All of them will attack you and their eyes will turn red. You can tame them with bones, obtained by killing skeletons. They will not have a different skin. They automatically attack sheep in the wild. They will attack most hostile mobs, but especially not the creeper.
  • Squids are found in most bodies of water, including ponds and rivers. Some even spawn in 1 block of water! This is very rare. When killed, they drop 1-3 ink sacks, used to craft a book and quill.
  • Bats spawn in caves and other dark spaces. Bats do not drop anything, so i think they added bats in for future references.
  • Iron Golems spawn in villages with 20 or more doors. Iron golems can be made by making a small plus sign with 4 blocks of iron and completing the mini-plus sign by placing a pumpkin on top. (View the right photo.) Iron golems will become hostile only when you kill a villager. They have 100 health and will drop around 1-10 iron. They spawn in with their only purpose is to protect villagers.
  • Villagers are peaceful CPUs that offer trades using emeralds you have  or offering trades that give you emeralds (in my experience, at least.) They have farms in the villages that they live in which may contain wheat, potatoes, and carrots. This is another way to get carrots and potatoes besides killing zombies which have a rare chance to drop them. Villages, where these villagers are found, are most common in the plains biome and also include different variations in the buildings and one building contains a chest and has ores, armor, and regular materials. The different villager types (from left to right on the photo) are: farmer, priest, butcher, librarian, and blacksmith. When killed, drop nothing.
  • Mooshrooms only spawn on the mushroom island/ biome and the blocks that make up
the ground are mycelium, and they only spawn on that one type of block. The mushroom biome is very rare and if you right-click mooshrooms with a bowl, you get mushroom stew. (To the right is a photo of the mooshroom island.)
